In this blog, we will discuss how Edlodge Foundation is helping in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) four, five and ten.

Education plays a crucial role in every individual's life. Being one of the 17 sustainable development goals, quality education is something that the government is working hard on achieving. As children, we don’t understand the importance of education and view it as an unavoidable task imposed upon our carefree childhood. Some even see the children who can't afford to attend school as fortunate enough to pass the time away by playing games. So why do the kids who can't get their educational rights envy the ones who can, if they are happy? Growing up exposes us to the reality of the situation, highlighting the struggles encountered by those who are unable to complete their education on time and appreciating their own accessibility to it.

It is also critical to understand that the issue of education is interrelated with other concerns of gender disparity (SDG 5) and inequalities prevalent in backward and rural communities as well. This results in a divide between the haves and have-nots, enriching the rich and impoverishing the poor due to rising unemployment and illiteracy. To address this issue, relentless efforts have been undertaken to acquire comprehensive education across every area. Besides, in this competitive world, without some sort of educational qualification, your skills will be left buried in the dust, while many others with educational stepping stones will surpass you with their qualifications. Programs like midday meal programs and ration packets are helpful in these circumstances because parents may be inclined to send their kids to school if they see the benefits of food arrangements and ration packets. This way, the Edlodge Foundation is catering towards achieving quality education (SDG 4).

A global community of online teaching and learning has emerged as a result of technological advancements. This is clearly evident by the vast number of brand-new learning environments and platforms that have emerged in response to continuous advancements aimed at advancing comprehensive education. One such foundation is EdLogde, which aims to achieve high-quality learning through its online platform. In addition to providing online lessons to its students that include topic explanations and problem-solving techniques related to subjects they struggle to grasp, they are also provided with practice and a greater comprehension of the subjects that they find challenging through peer interaction and practice sheets. This way it is helping in reducing the inequalities (SDG 10) that exist in our society.

Have you ever found yourself in a position where your teacher tried several times to explain the idea to you without any success? So, to spare yourself the embarrassment, you simply nod in agreement. Learning sites like Edlodge come in handy in situations like these when you realize the need for some additional assistance. Mainly maintained and staffed by recent graduates and university students, the EdLodge foundation upholds a warm and welcoming environment while offering its registered students online tutoring, peer-to-peer interaction, and student-friendly teaching methods for the required subjects. In fact, it serves as an online educational lodge where perplexed students can clear their concerns and gain a better understanding of a subject that is confusing to them.

In addition, the foundation employs a dedicated section that works hard on producing blogs and weekly newsletters covering a range of educational subjects. The purpose of this written content is to raise awareness among young people who are denied the opportunity to pursue their educational rights because of financial or familial circumstances that prevent them from attending school. By means of newsletters and donation programs, Edlodge draws the attention of its readers to the neglected scholastic prospects of numerous children who sleep beneath bridges and toil all day to earn their daily meals. In this way, by supporting equitable opportunities for all individuals who are passionate about learning, regardless of gender, and minimizing educational disparities, the Edlodge Foundation hopes to have an impact on the online learning community.
